Manchester City is in negotiations with Atalanta to finalize the transfer of 21-year-old right-back Marco Palestra. Reports from journalist Nicolo Schira indicate that both clubs are currently discussing terms to seal the deal.
Atalanta has reportedly set a price of €70 million for Palestra, while City’s initial offer stands at €50 million. It is anticipated that the two clubs will reach a compromise on a €60 million fee, paving the way for an official announcement soon.
During the current season, Palestra has been on loan at Cagliari, where he made 37 appearances, contributing one goal and four assists. His market value is estimated at €35 million, according to Transfermarkt.
