The women’s teams from Burkina Faso and Mali are intensifying their preparations for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations, set to take place this summer in Morocco. The Etalons and the Eagles ladies will meet each other in two friendly matches during the forthcoming international break.
These matches, part of a double-header, will be held at the Stade du 4 Août on June 4 and June 7. The encounters are designed to help both teams refine their strategies and maintain player fitness as they approach the end of the season, with just over a month remaining before the African Women’s Nations Cup commences.
Both Burkina Faso and Mali have successfully qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations, which is scheduled from July 25 to August 16, 2026, in Morocco.
