Atalanta has officially announced the appointment of Cristiano Giuntoli as their new sporting director.
In a statement on their social media platforms, the renowned Italian club introduced Giuntoli, who previously held the same position at Juventus and Napoli. The terms of his contract with Atalanta have not been disclosed.
Giuntoli gained recognition during his time at Carpi, where he successfully guided the team from Serie D to Serie A in just four seasons. His reputation was further solidified at Napoli, where he played a pivotal role in leading the club to its first league title in 33 years.

Prior to joining Atalanta, Giuntoli spent two years at Juventus, where he contributed to the team’s success in securing the Coppa Italia.
