Liverpool Football Club has announced the dismissal of head coach Arne Slot through its social media channels. The decision comes after a review by the club’s board of directors, following the conclusion of the 2025/26 season.
During his time with Liverpool from 2024 to 2026, Slot managed a total of 122 matches, achieving 74 victories, 18 draws, and 30 defeats. Notably, he led the team to secure the Premier League title in the 2024/25 season.
The club’s search for a new head coach is already underway, with Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola being identified as the leading candidate for the position. Iraola is expected to part ways with Bournemouth at the end of the current season.
