The much-anticipated final of Europe’s premier tournament between Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Arsenal commenced with exhilarating drama. The London team made an early impact, as German forward Kai Havertz found the back of the net, causing the scoreboard to read 0-1 in favor of the Gunners.

This goal, however, ignited outrage among PSG supporters. Broadcast replays clearly indicated that in the lead-up to the goal, Havertz’s forearm made contact with the ball after a powerful clearance from PSG defender Marquinhos.

Despite the evident handball, the officiating team, led by the match referee, chose to uphold the goal. Consequently, Arsenal held a slim lead after just ten minutes of play.
