In a thrilling Champions League final held in Budapest, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) secured their second consecutive title, yet the victory has raised concerns for the French national team’s coaching staff. The match culminated in a tense penalty shootout against Arsenal, with PSG’s standout player, Ousmane Dembélé, playing a pivotal role.

Dembélé scored a vital goal that kept PSG in contention, but his physical condition has since become a point of worry. Despite his crucial contribution, the winger was unable to participate in extra time due to severe cramps and muscle exhaustion, watching the concluding moments from the bench.

“Toward the end, I started getting terrible cramps. It lasted from the 80th minute until the final whistle. The match was unbelievably intense. I think it was tough for all of us—many were cramping up in the closing stages,” Dembélé told Canal+ France.
