Gor Mahia FC has been officially crowned the champions of the 2025/2026 FKF Premier League, despite suffering a 1-0 defeat on the final day against Nairobi United. This victory marks a significant achievement for the club, as they secure their historic 22nd title.
The team finished the season at the top of the table with 69 points from 34 matches, narrowly surpassing their rivals AFC Leopards, who concluded the campaign in second place with 64 points. Kenya Police FC followed in third, accumulating 55 points.
As the champions, Gor Mahia is set to receive a prize of KSh15 million (approximately $116,000) and has also earned a spot in the upcoming CAF Champions League, allowing them to represent Kenya at the continental level.
