The Ghanaian club secured the 2025/26 FA Cup title following a 5-4 victory in penalties at the University of Ghana Stadium, after the match finished 1-1 after regulation and extra time.
The match commenced with Nations FC taking the lead in the 31st minute through a composed finish from Joseph Effah. However, Dreams FC equalized just before the half-time break with a goal from Abdul Razak Salifu.
With neither side managing to score during extra time, the contest progressed to penalties. Nations FC displayed resilience, ultimately clinching the trophy in the nerve-wracking shootout.
Despite facing relegation in their league, Nations FC’s FA Cup victory grants them the opportunity to represent Ghana on the continental stage next season.
