Charlie Robinson, a 21-year-old centre-back who progressed through Fulham’s academy, has officially announced his retirement from professional football due to chronic knee injuries. Despite his talent and potential, Robinson’s playing career has been marred by health issues that have hindered his ability to compete.
Robinson revealed that the decision to retire was difficult, stemming from three years of battling knee problems. After consultations with several leading specialists, he concluded that he had no choice but to step away from the sport.
“After three years battling knee injuries and consulting with the country’s top specialists, I am sadly forced to retire from professional football,” Robinson stated.
