Senegal has officially announced its final squad for the upcoming World Cup, jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Manager Pape Thiaw has selected a total of 26 players, with notable inclusions and omissions.
A significant highlight of the squad is the inclusion of 18-year-old Bara Sapako Ndiaye, a young striker currently on loan at Bayern Munich. This will mark Ndiaye’s first appearance at the World Cup. Despite having made only four appearances for Bayern Munich since joining, he has caught the attention of Thiaw.
Conversely, Moustapha Mbow and Ilay Camara will not be making the trip to the United States as they have been excluded from the final roster. Both players were part of the provisional list but have ultimately been dropped from the squad.
