The young Egyptians concluded their campaign at the U17 Africa Cup of Nations on a positive note after their earlier exit in the semi-finals.
Competing against Morocco on Monday for the third-place finish, Egypt’s U17 national team, having been eliminated by Tanzania in the semi-finals, managed to secure the bronze medal.
In a thrilling match, the Egyptians won 2-0, while host nation Morocco, which was defeated by Senegal in the semi-finals, ended the tournament in fourth place.
