Manchester City is reportedly poised to make a significant move in the transfer market, targeting Chelsea defender Malo Gusto. Incoming head coach Enzo Maresca has signaled his approval for this potential signing.
According to prominent journalist Graeme Bailey on his X social media platform, City is looking to acquire the 23-year-old right-back, who previously impressed Maresca during their time together at Chelsea.
Chelsea is amenable to parting with Gusto but is demanding a fee of at least £31 million for the player. This season, Gusto has made 49 appearances for the Blues, contributing 3 goals and 5 assists. His current contract with Chelsea is valid until 2030.
