Mason Greenwood has concluded an impressive season with Marseille but is now seeking a move to a different league. Reports indicate that the English winger has verbally agreed to join Serie A club Roma.
Details: According to journalist Nicolo Schira, Greenwood is set to sign a contract with the Giallorossi that extends until 2031. Roma is reportedly negotiating with Marseille for a transfer fee of €50 million for the player.
In addition to Roma’s interest, several leading Saudi Arabian clubs have expressed serious desire to acquire Greenwood. Saudi officials are prepared to offer a lucrative financial package in the upcoming transfer window.
It is also known that Greenwood previously agreed to join Turkish giants Fenerbahçe, with the Istanbul-based club also expected to meet the €50 million asking price for his transfer.
