Manchester United CEO Omar Berrada has outlined the club’s strategy for the upcoming 2026 summer transfer window. The Red Devils’ management aims to significantly enhance the squad by signing at least five top-level players.

According to The Mirror, the club plans to adopt a similar approach to last year, focusing on a blend of proven Premier League talent and promising players from overseas leagues. This strategy reflects Manchester United’s commitment to strengthening their squad depth and overall quality.

In an interview with the club’s official YouTube channel, Berrada emphasized the importance of having a clear vision for the future. He stated:

“I think the template we used last summer will largely be repeated. Going into a transfer window, you never know exactly how you’ll come out of it, but you have to be as prepared as possible. You need to have an absolutely clear plan,” he said.

Additionally, Manchester United has secured an extension on the contract of goalkeeper Tom Heaton.
