Legendary striker Jamie Vardy has expressed a firm intention to continue his football career. At 39 years old, Vardy is currently in discussions with a new club following the relegation of Cremonese from Serie A.
Reports from sports journalist Jim Fletcher on social media platform X indicate that Vardy is in talks with Racing Santander, who have recently secured promotion to La Liga after finishing atop the Segunda Division.
With Vardy’s contract with Cremonese set to expire in a few days and no plans for renewal, the forward is looking towards a new chapter in his career. He joined Cremonese as a free agent in September 2025, making 29 appearances, during which he scored 7 goals and provided 3 assists.
