The Algerian Football Federation has reportedly reached an agreement with Swiss manager Vladimir Petkovic to continue leading the national team. Petkovic has been in charge since February 2024, and his performance has impressed the Algerian football authorities, leading to the decision to retain him as head coach of the Fennecs.
According to information from Samir Kaabouche, Petkovic is expected to officially extend his contract on Sunday, June 7. The extension will likely be for an additional two years, accompanied by an increase in salary for the Swiss coach.
