Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has reportedly been offered to Barcelona, but the club has no immediate intentions of pursuing his signing, according to Sport journalist Carlos Monfort.
The Nigerian forward’s representatives contacted Barcelona’s management, expressing Osimhen’s desire to continue his career in one of Europe’s top leagues. However, the Catalan club has opted to focus on alternative attacking options at this time.
Barcelona’s primary transfer target remains Atlético Madrid striker Julián Álvarez. Despite Atlético’s reluctance to let the Argentine go, Barcelona is hopeful that the Madrid club’s position could shift in the coming weeks.
Osimhen, 27, currently holds a market value of €75 million, according to Transfermarkt, and is under contract with Galatasaray until the summer of 2029.
