Chelsea F.C. is reportedly making moves to enhance their attacking options as they eye a significant addition to their squad. The London club has submitted an official offer to AC Milan for 26-year-old Portuguese forward Rafael Leão.
According to Corriere Dello Sport, Chelsea’s management is looking to take advantage of Leão’s strained relationship with the Milan hierarchy, proposing a bid of approximately €60 million. Leão has previously expressed his intent to leave the club, citing ongoing disagreements with the management.
This season, Leão has had a notable impact for Milan, appearing in 31 matches, where he has scored 10 goals and provided 3 assists. His current contract with the Rossoneri is valid until 2028, with his market value estimated at €80 million by Transfermarkt.
