Tragic news has emerged from Kosovo regarding the death of Fatjon Bunjaku, a right winger for the Kosovo youth national team and AF Elbasani. He was just 22 years old.
Bunjaku reportedly died as a result of a serious car accident that took place last Sunday in the village of Mahanui, Kosovo. Reports indicate that he was driving at the time of the incident and suffered injuries that were incompatible with life.
The Football Federation of Kosovo expressed “deep pain and profound sorrow” following this heartbreaking news, highlighting the impact of his untimely passing on the community.
Throughout his young career, Bunjaku represented Kosovo at both the U-19 and U-21 levels. His club experience included stints with teams such as Liria, Malisheva, Gjilani, and AF Elbasani.
