Manchester United is actively seeking to enhance its goalkeeping options as the new season approaches. The club has reportedly identified Leeds United’s experienced goalkeeper, Karl Darlow, as a potential target.

According to information from The Athletic, the 35-year-old Darlow may enter free agency at the end of June, as his current contract with Leeds is set to expire. Manchester United’s management views Darlow as a suitable candidate for the backup goalkeeper position, offering reliable support during a demanding season.

However, Leeds United is determined to retain their veteran keeper and is preparing a new contract offer to Darlow in response to United’s interest. A definitive decision regarding Manchester United’s No. 2 goalkeeper is anticipated in the coming weeks, as the club moves to finalize its summer transfer plans.
