The legendary Neymar may miss the entire World Cup. According to Foot Mercato, the 34-year-old Brazil and Santos winger is not expected to recover in time for the start of the tournament.
Reports indicate that Neymar’s recovery from a shinbone injury has taken longer than initially anticipated. Consequently, he did not participate in Brazil’s team training session, rendering his appearance in the opening group match against Morocco, just three days away, impossible.
It remains uncertain whether Neymar will recover in time for upcoming fixtures against Haiti and Scotland. Earlier, the Seleção head coach faced criticism for opting to include the injury-prone Neymar instead of the younger Chelsea forward João Pedro.
