റയൽ മാഡ്രിഡിന്റെ പുതിയ ഹെഡ് കോച്ചായി ജോസ് മൗറീഞ്ഞോ ചുമതലയേൽക്കുന്നു. ക്ലബ്ബ് ഔദ്യോഗികമായി ഇക്കാര്യം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചു.
ബെൻഫിക്കയുടെ പരിശീലകനായിരിക്കെ മികച്ച പ്രകടനമാണ് 63-കാരനായ മൗറീഞ്ഞോ കാഴ്ചവെച്ചത്. അദ്ദേഹം പരിശീലകനായ കാലയളവിൽ ഒരു ലീഗ് സീസൺ തോൽവികളില്ലാതെ പൂർത്തിയാക്കാൻ ബെൻഫിക്കയ്ക്ക് സാധിച്ചു.
ജൂൺ 11 വ്യാഴാഴ്ച ചേർന്ന റയൽ മാഡ്രിഡ് സി.എഫ്. ഡയറക്ടർ ബോർഡ് യോഗത്തിലാണ് ഇതുസംബന്ധിച്ച തീരുമാനമുണ്ടായത്. ഫ്ലോറന്റീനോ പെരസിന്റെ അധ്യക്ഷതയിൽ ചേർന്ന യോഗം, അടുത്ത മൂന്ന് സീസണുകളിലേക്ക് ജോസ് മൗറീഞ്ഞോയെ ഫസ്റ്റ് ടീം പരിശീലകനായി നിയമിക്കാൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചു. 2029 ജൂൺ 30 വരെയാണ് കരാറിന്റെ കാലാവധി.
പ്രീ-സീസൺ പരിശീലനം ആരംഭിക്കുന്ന ജൂലൈ 13-ന് ജോസ് മൗറീഞ്ഞോ റയൽ മാഡ്രിഡിനൊപ്പം ചേരും.
Real Madrid have confirmed that Jose Mourinho is their new head coach.
The 63-year-old coach arrives from his spell as Benfica boss, where he led them to an unbeaten league season.
A clubs statement said, “The Board of Directors of Real Madrid C.F., meeting today, Thursday, June 11, and chaired by Florentino Pérez, has agreed to appoint José Mourinho as first-team coach for the next three seasons, until June 30, 2029.
“José Mourinho will join Real Madrid on July 13, the day preseason training begins.”
