डेली मेल की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, वर्ल्ड कप से ठीक पहले खेले गए अपने आखिरी वॉर्म-अप मैच में इंग्लैंड की टीम ने मियामी एफसी को 6-0 के बड़े अंतर से मात दी।
पिछली रात कोस्टारिका के खिलाफ हुए फ्रेंडली मैच के विपरीत, इस मैच में इंग्लैंड ने अमेरिकी सेकंड-टियर टीम के खिलाफ कुछ नए और बेंच पर रहने वाले खिलाड़ियों को मौका दिया। यह मैच बंद दरवाजों के पीछे खेला गया।
