FIFA has announced the appointment of an English officiating team for the upcoming Group E match at the 2026 World Cup, hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
The match will feature the Ivory Coast Elephants facing Ecuador on 14 June at 11 PM GMT. This encounter marks the opening match of Group E.
Michael Oliver, a seasoned English referee, will lead the officiating crew, assisted by fellow countrymen Stuart Burt and James Mainwaring in their respective roles as assistant referees.
