Trabzonspor are reportedly intensifying their efforts to re-sign Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana on a permanent basis, according to The Mirror.
The Turkish side are said to be highly interested in bringing the 30-year-old back during the current summer transfer window and are preparing a formal approach in an attempt to reach an agreement with the Premier League club. Trabzonspor’s management view the goalkeeper position as a priority area for reinforcement ahead of the new season.
Onana already spent the previous campaign on loan at Trabzonspor, where he featured in 33 matches across all competitions and quickly established himself as a key figure in the squad. His performances during that spell are believed to have convinced the club of his suitability for a long-term role in the team.
