Michael Oliver has been replaced by François Letexier as the referee for the upcoming Group E fixture between Ivory Coast and Ecuador. Originally set to officiate the match on June 14 at 11 PM GMT, Oliver will no longer participate due to a reported injury.

FIFA announced the change, designating French referee François Letexier to take over the responsibilities for the match, which will take place at Philadelphia Stadium in the early hours of June 15, 2026. Letexier will be supported by fellow French officials Cyril Mugnier and Mehdi Rahmouni as assistant referees.
