Ghana’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a strongly worded protest against Canada’s decision to deny a visa to Black Stars midfielder Thomas Partey for the 2026 World Cup.
In an official statement, the government described the refusal as “high-handed and extremely unfair”, emphasising the fundamental legal principle of presumption of innocence.
