Ivory Coast will commence their World Cup campaign in the early hours of Monday, June 15, as part of Group E. The team, known as the Elephants, returns to the prestigious tournament after missing the last two editions.

The Ivorian squad is set to face Ecuador in their opening match on June 14 at 11 PM GMT, taking place at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. This marks a significant moment for the team as they aim to make an impact in the competition.

Prior to the match, Ivorian manager Emerse Fae expressed caution regarding their Ecuadorian rivals. During a press conference, he emphasized the importance of preparation and focus. “Everyone will be available for selection for tomorrow’s match. We’re expecting a very tight game. At this level of competition, the small details often make all the difference. We’ll need to stay focused from start to finish and seize the opportunities that come our way,” Fae remarked.
