Bukayo Saka has expressed his excitement about playing under Thomas Tuchel as England prepare to begin their World Cup campaign against Croatia.
The tournament will be Saka’s fourth major competition with England, but his first under Tuchel following Gareth Southgate’s departure.
Speaking ahead of the Three Lions’ opening match, the Arsenal winger praised the England manager and revealed that the squad is eager to get the tournament underway.
“I think Thomas Tuchel is a great manager.
“I’m very excited and happy. I’m excited, I think, with the players, they’re in good spirits. I’m just itching to get this first game underway,” Saka has said.
