Atalanta winger Marco Palestra, who spent the previous season on loan at Cagliari, is generating interest from multiple English clubs. According to reports from Sky Sport, Premier League teams Chelsea and Manchester City are keen on the 21-year-old Italy international.
Palestra’s rising profile in Italian football has caught the attention of these top-tier clubs, who are currently gathering information about a potential transfer. However, there have been no formal discussions with Atalanta, and neither Chelsea nor Manchester City has made an official offer for the player.
Previous reports indicated that Inter Milan was also interested in acquiring Palestra following the departure of Denzel Dumfries. However, negotiations have reportedly stalled, as Atalanta is unwilling to let go of Palestra for €40 million amid increasing interest in the player.
In the 2025/26 season, Palestra made 37 appearances for Cagliari, contributing one goal and four assists.
