According to Matteo Moretto, River Plate and Fiorentina have already reached a preliminary agreement for Lucas Beltran to return to the Argentine club.
The deal would be a loan for 500,000 euros, with a purchase option of 6.7 million euros for 54% of the striker’s rights.
The agreement between the clubs is on track, but the final approval from the player is still pending. The main obstacle is that Beltrán is hesitating about returning to Argentine football, as his initial priority was to continue his career in Europe.
German Garcia Grova also reported in recent hours that River has opened talks to bring back the forward, whose registration belongs to Fiorentina.
Beltran recently played on loan at Valencia. His contract with Fiorentina runs until June 2028.
