FIFA has announced that Moroccan referee Jalal Javed will officiate the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup Group K match between Portugal and Uzbekistan on Tuesday.
Joining Javed on the officiating team are fellow Moroccans Zakariya Brinsi and Mustapha Akarkad, who will serve as assistant referees for the important encounter.
Additionally, South Africa’s Abongile Tom has been appointed as the fourth official, while Zakhele Siwela will take on the role of reserve assistant referee.
