Thapelo Maseko’s decisive goal propelled South Africa to a second-place finish in Group A of the World Cup, as they secured a victory against South Korea.

Maseko confidently slotted the ball into the net after receiving a pass from Tshepang Moremi, who had come off the bench for Oswin Appollis.

This win allowed South Africa, known as Bafana, to finish with four points, trailing behind group leaders Mexico, who completed their matches with a total of nine points.
