Chelsea FC is reportedly pursuing Crystal Palace defender Maxence Lacroix, demonstrating serious interest in acquiring the player. According to L’Equipe, the London club is prepared to offer approximately £47.5 million for the 26-year-old.
Lacroix, who is currently representing France at the World Cup, is expected to finalize his transfer to Stamford Bridge following the tournament. Since joining Crystal Palace, he has made a total of 98 appearances, contributing to the team’s victories in the FA Cup, UEFA Conference League, and Community Shield.
In related news, Chelsea is also looking to offload centre-back Trevoh Chalobah, with reports indicating they are seeking at least €40 million from Italian club Como for his transfer.
