Following Steve Clarke’s resignation, the Scotland national football team has initiated the process of finding a new head coach. The Scottish Football Association has prepared a shortlist that features a mix of well-regarded specialists, including both experienced managers and those familiar with local football, according to reports from SportsMole.

Among the leading candidates is Everton’s head coach, David Moyes, whose current contract with the club extends for another season. Former Celtic and Tottenham manager, Ange Postecoglou, is also in contention, bringing a deep understanding of Scottish football to the table.

Other potential successors include former Denmark national team coach Kasper Hjulmand, ex-Rangers manager Barry Ferguson, and the current national team assistant, Steven Naismith.
