A key teammate of Cristiano Ronaldo could be on the move from Al Nassr ahead of the upcoming season.
Cristiano Ronaldo recently agreed to extend his stay with Al Nassr through 2027, aiming to secure his first title with the Saudi club. With a squad rebuild expected this summer to strengthen the team across all competitions, a major piece of the attack could be on the verge of departure.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Fenerbahce have submitted an official bid to Al Nassr for striker Jhon Duran. Romano added that negotiations are ongoing, with Fenerbahce director Devin Ozek currently in Colombia working to advance talks with the player’s representatives.
Al Nassr are also undergoing significant changes off the pitch. The club is actively searching for a new head coach following Stefano Pioli’s exit. Former Al Hilal manager Jorge Jesus has emerged as the leading candidate.
As reported by Al Nassr Zone on X (formerly Twitter), Al Nassr have submitted a one-year offer worth €7 million to Jorge Jesus, which is reportedly 50% less than what the Portuguese manager earned during his time with Al Hilal. A decision from Jesus is expected in the coming days.

Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly recommends a new signing
As part of his new deal, Ronaldo reportedly now has a say in Al Nassr’s transfer strategy. According to journalist Tareq Saad, the Portuguese star has already made some suggestions—a move to strengthen the left-back position.
While no names were officially confirmed, Saudi media have linked Sergi Cardona of Villarreal as a top target. The 25-year-old Spanish fullback has also drawn interest from Premier League clubs.
Although Villarreal are not actively looking to sell, Cardona’s €15 million release clause—valid through June 2027—poses no financial challenge for Al Nassr, given the club’s considerable spending power.
