Nottingham Forest is moving fast in the transfer market, leaving no stone unturned. After already securing Dan Ndoye (€42 million), Igor Jesus (€19 million), and Jair Cunha (€12 million), the club is now close to adding Arnaud Kalimuendo and James McAtee to its squad.
Recently, Forest was also eyeing Strasbourg winger Dilane Bakwa. However, talks stalled after Strasbourg rejected a €31 million offer, insisting on €35 million excluding bonuses.
This has pushed Forest to explore other options, with Omari Hutchinson of Ipswich emerging as the top alternative. According to The Athletic, the club, which finished 7th in last season’s Premier League, is negotiating to bring in the 21-year-old for €42 million (approx ₹382 crore).
The deal is not yet sealed, but discussions are reportedly progressing well, making Hutchinson a strong candidate for Forest’s next big signing.
