A 2009-Born Player Trains with PSG: The Journey of a Young Football Talent

Achraf Hakimi’s departure for the Africa Cup of Nations could bring opportunities this winter. Luis Enrique, who has been focusing on developing young talent since his arrival, promoted another academy player to the first team: David Boly.

According to L’Equipe, the 16-year-old right-back, born in 2009, participated in a training session with the professional squad. Recognized as one of the top prospects of his generation, Boly’s progress was hampered recently by a shoulder injury. The U17 France national team coach, Lionel Rouxel, intended to select him for the U17 World Cup scheduled for November in Qatar, but the Parisian club declined the request.
