As the weekend approaches, AC Milan is poised to maintain their lead in Serie A against Sassuolo.
The Rossoneri have surprised many by topping the league and remain unbeaten since the first weekend. They have secured victories in their last three Serie A matches, benefitting from not participating in European competitions this season.
Sassuolo is currently in eighth place and is striving for a spot in European competitions this season.
Rafael Leao is expected to miss the match due to a muscular injury.
With his absence, leading scorer Christian Pulisic is likely to return to the starting lineup. The USA international scored two goals off the bench in the recent 3-2 comeback win against Torino.
