Adidas Reveals New Official Ball for the 2026 World Cup

A new World Cup ball has been revealed.

As we look forward to the 2026 World Cup, Adidas, a key sponsor of the event, has introduced the match ball that will be used in the tournament.

The new ball is named Trionda. It features a design with swirling blue, red, and green lines on a white surface, enhanced by star patterns.

Adidas has provided the official World Cup balls since 1970. Notable previous models include:

  • Adidas Telstar Durlast (Germany, 1974).
  • Adidas Tango Rosario (Argentina, 1978).
  • Adidas Tango Espana (Spain, 1982).
  • Adidas Azteca (Mexico, 1986).

  • Adidas Questra (USA, 1994).
  • Adidas Tricolore (France, 1998).
  • Adidas Fevernova (Japan/South Korea, 2002).

The 2026 World Cup is scheduled to take place from June 11 to July 19 in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.

Additionally, Adidas will showcase the official ball for the tournament at the iconic Sphere arena in Las Vegas.
