Thibaut Courtois’ future at Real Madrid has been secured. According to Onda Cero, the agreement for a one-year contract extension with the Belgian goalkeeper has been finalized. He will extend his stay until 2028, as his current contract was set to expire in June 2027.
This one-year extension is standard practice for players over 30 at Madrid. Having played over 300 matches and secured 14 titles with Real Madrid, Courtois will continue to guard the net at Santiago Bernabéu for at least two more seasons.
