Aldosivi and Boca Juniors will face off on Sunday at the José María Minella Stadium in Mar del Plata for Matchday 7 of Group A in the 2025 Clausura Tournament. According to La Nación, the match will start at 2:30 p.m. local time, with Sebastián Zunino as the referee.
Aldosivi is still looking for their first win this season. They are at the bottom of the group with just three points from six matches, coming off a close 1-0 defeat to Estudiantes de La Plata. The team feels the pressure as they try to secure a win against one of Argentina’s notable clubs.
Boca, on the other hand, is coming in with fresh confidence. After ending a 12-game winless streak—the longest in their history—they have achieved two consecutive victories, moving up to fifth place with nine points. Last weekend, they won 2-0 against Banfield at La Bombonera, boosting morale within the team.
The recent match history favors Boca. Earlier this year, on February 22 in the Apertura, Boca won 2-1 against Aldosivi at home, with goals from Luis Advíncula and Miguel Merentiel, while Tiago Serrago scored for Aldosivi. Their last encounter in Mar del Plata was in February 2022, where Boca also won 2-1, with Sebastián Villa netting twice and Martín Cauteruccio scoring for Aldosivi.
This Sunday’s game presents two different goals: Aldosivi aims for their first victory of the season, while Boca looks for a third straight win to climb higher in the group standings.
