Liverpool‘s new player, Alexander Isak, has spoken about his transfer to the club for the first time. He discussed the situation with Swedish media, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Isak recently returned to the Swedish national team during the international break, marking his first appearance in three months.
“Not everyone knows the full story, but that’s for another time. I can’t control what people say or write. I’m happy to be a Liverpool player. It’s great that everything was sorted out before the camp so I could focus on football again. It’s a new situation for me, but you always learn and grow off the pitch,” the Swedish striker told reporters.

To recap, Alexander Isak was allowed by Newcastle to join Liverpool for a record fee of £125 million just before the transfer window closed. Newcastle was initially hesitant to let him go, which led him to skip training sessions.
