Alexander Isak Faces Setback Ahead of Real Madrid Showdown

Besides the PSG vs. Bayern Munich match, another major clash in this Champions League day is set to take place at Anfield Road, where Liverpool will host Real Madrid on Tuesday at 8 PM IST. Both teams are grappling with significant injuries. Liverpool will notably be without Alisson and Frimpong.

Additionally, Alexander Isak is likely to miss out as well. The striker, who joined this summer for €150 million, has been sidelined for three games due to a groin injury and was absent from Liverpool’s training ahead of the match against Real Madrid, according to coach Arne Slot. “Regarding Alex, we have to wait and see. He certainly will not start on Sunday, but he might be part of the squad. He is still not training with the team, so we need to wait and see,” he stated. However, Dutchman Slot will have Curtis Jones available.
