The January transfer window closed on Deadline Day, but it was a quiet end for Premier League clubs.

The excitement surrounding Jean-Philippe Mateta’s move to AC Milan fell flat, as few significant transfers took place in the last hours of the window.

Overall, the day saw very few major signings, with only a handful of clubs announcing new arrivals. Notably, Chelsea did not make any new signings, with Mamadou Sarr the only addition, as he returned from his loan at Strasbourg.

The most notable transfer was Jorgen Strand Larsen’s £43 million transfer from Wolves to Crystal Palace, although the Eagles couldn’t finalize the signing of Dwight McNeil from Everton. Liverpool confirmed the signing of Jeremy Jacquet from Rennes for £55m, but that deal will only be completed in the summer.

Additionally, Axel Disasi is set to move from Chelsea to West Ham United, and several other deals are still pending confirmation at this time. Updates will be provided as they come in.
