Allegri Officially Coaches AC Milan: Support and Hope Flood Social Media

Massimiliano Allegri has officially returned as head coach of AC Milan, marking his second term with the club after 11 years. The appointment was announced on Friday (30 May), following the departure of Sergio Conceição, who failed to secure Milan’s qualification for European competitions, finishing eighth in Serie A in the 2023–24 season. This information was reported on AC Milan’s official website.

Allegri previously coached AC Milan from 2010 to 2014, winning the Serie A title in 2010/11 and the Italian Super Cup in 2011/12. The Italian-born midfielder then continued his career at Juventus, where he won five consecutive Serie A titles and five Coppa Italias.

According to AC Milan’s Instagram account, reactions to Allegri’s reappointment have been mixed among Rossoneri supporters. Some fans have welcomed it optimistically, given his successful track record with Milan and Juventus.

“Well done, Mr Allegri! Welcome back,” wrote one user.

‘This year, you will also have new supporters because we will always love Max. Come on, sir,’ wrote another account.

‘Two neighbouring racetracks — what a great move, sir! That’s why you’re back,’ wrote another account.

Despite the huge challenges ahead, particularly rebuilding fans’ confidence and returning Milan to the top of domestic and European competitions, many hope Allegri’s return will mark the start of a new era of success for the Rossoneri.
