The Portuguese coach remains committed to his philosophy.
After losing to Manchester City (0-3), Ruben Amorim spoke to fans, stating he will not change his approach to football.
Details: At the post-match press conference, Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim addressed criticism aimed at his team, reaffirming he will uphold his principles.
“Yes, this is unacceptable for United, but I won’t change. If I ever decide to change my philosophy, I will. Otherwise, it’s time for a new coach,” said the Portuguese manager.
Amorim emphasized that the team’s struggles are not related to the system of play and that he intends to maintain his strategy.
“We are playing better, but the results do not reflect that. I don’t believe the system is the problem; I will keep on my path,” he added.
The coach also reassured supporters that he is fully invested in the team’s success despite the criticism.
“I’m doing everything I can. The rest is not within my control. As long as I’m here, I will give my all,” Amorim stated.
