Last summer, there were rumors about Robertson possibly leaving Liverpool, especially with Atletico Madrid showing interest, but nothing happened.

On his YouTube channel, Lynch indicated that Robertson might receive several offers at the end of this season and could decide to leave.

“Regarding Robertson, I think it’s quite interesting,” the reporter mentioned. “I believe it’s likely that Andy Robertson will leave Liverpool this summer. If he was staying, I think it would have been confirmed by now.”

“He seemed eager to explore options last summer, especially with the Atletico Madrid move being appealing. The situation with [Diogo] Jota and his role within the team were factors to consider as well.”

“But I expect he’ll have many offers for free transfers to clubs where he can play more regularly.”

“So, from my perspective, Andy Robertson leaves as a Liverpool legend.”

Arne Slot discusses Andy Robertson’s future

After Robertson’s comments about his situation surfaced, Slot was asked for his thoughts on the defender’s status at the club.

“I have to compliment him on his statements; they were very mature,” Slot said. “I understand his feelings about not starting every match. I appreciate that he enjoys his position and recognizes his ongoing importance to the club after all these years.”

“He’s played quite a few games, though not as many as he might have wished. His attitude and recent comments in the media reflect positively on him and highlight his contributions over the past eight-and-a-half years.”

Liverpool could still benefit from Robertson’s experience if he is happy to stay as a backup. However, given his significant contributions over the years, if he decides to leave, it is understandable.
