The legendary Argentine has expressed his admiration for the current national team coach.
Scaloni is receiving well-deserved praise for his work.
Details: In a recent interview with TyC Sports, Ángel Di María, a 37-year-old midfielder for Rosario Central and the Argentina national team, shared his views on head coach Lionel Scaloni:
“He deserves a lifetime contract. Everything he has done, the players he has chosen, like Thiago Almada from MLS, who is now a key player… It’s not only about his past successes, but also how he’s developing young talent with the U-20 squad. This recognition is well-earned. I have a lot of respect for him. He’s worked hard to elevate the national team to its current status. He should continue in this role for many more years,” Di María stated.
Lionel Scaloni has guided Argentina to three major titles: the 2022 World Cup, the 2021 Copa América, and the upcoming 2024 Copa América, along with the Finalissima win in 2022.
Reminder: Scaloni has confirmed whether Messi will participate in the next match.
