The Portuguese manager’s career may head back to England.
A decision is expected soon.
Details: TeamTalk reports that 62-year-old José Mourinho is a contender for the managerial position at English club Leeds.
Leeds’ management is looking for a replacement for current head coach Daniel Farke due to a slow start to the season. However, no decision has been made to dismiss him yet. Mourinho, who has been unemployed since leaving Fenerbahçe, is among the possibilities for taking over the coaching role.
It is uncertain if Mourinho would consider Leeds, but he mentioned earlier this year that he would be open to managing a lower-half Premier League team after his time at Fenerbahçe.
Meanwhile, Leeds supporters have expressed that this speculation is disrespectful to Farke, who has gained their respect and admiration by improving the team.
Reminder: Couldn’t reach an agreement with Milan? Dovbyk could move to England this winter.
